New stored procedure comments lost on replica.

Folks,

We just started using replication for a large project. MySQL 8.0, all tables are Innodb and ROW based replication.

Been running about a week, very happy to see both structure and data in perfect sync between the source and replica -- however --

A developer made some updates to a stored procedure(SP) on the source. The executable source of the SP was communicated to the replica, but any new comment fields were lost.

To clarify, when we did the original mysqldumps to bring the replica in sync, all comments were on the replica. New comments are not stored.

Did a search on Google/these forums -- didn't see an reports. I hope there is any easy solution.

Thanks!
John
