first of all : thanx for your answer.
I've checked all available resources, everything is fine. The network is also working fine. I added a
"slave-net-timeout = 10" to the my.cnf to be sure that the slave quickly notices a network outage, if it happens. But that doesn't help. Only a restart of the slave reactivates the replication immediately. But restarts are unelegant.
So, does someone have any more ideas?
