Hi to all,

I am working on my first website.
I want to allow a new user to register and login to use the website.
I want to store the users information so their statistics are displayed to the user post login.

I have created a database named 'members' in mysql.
I have googled some free html scripts for testing the functionality that look ok on the website.

how can I link the html registration script to the database and save the input?
how can i make the database fetch user data upon login.

Im looking for some simple working method that i can customize, tweak and learn from so next time i need to use it its will not take me days and days to figure out.
