Thanks for reply, ive since discovered that i dont have any phpadmin rights with the hosting service im signed up to.
this is why when using mysql from my desktop i could not: create connect:, create database, create table, insert to field.

Reccommended solution: Upgrade Hosting Plan. check to see if the host can support your mysql version and php version and that remote connections to mysql can be executed.

I found a tool last night that im going to try out, it password protects certain sections of the webpage.
It may be useful for any sensetive information on your site that you dont want publicaly exposed while website building and publishing.
