Re: Syncing data between 2 tables of the same database

Hi Peter,

After reading your response, I can clearly see that a full understanding of data manipulation is required. So I did some research on database structures. Now with that said here's another attempt to explain what I have and what I need.

What I have:
1. Single database
2. 2 tables: members and wp_users
3. Tables are compatible as far as type: bigint
4. Both have auto_increment ID

What I need:
1. Create new user if not registered and pass data to wp_user table from mlm members table
2. If user exist allow login with current data
3. After successful login (new user or existing user) allow email and/or password update to both tables.

Based on your responses, I have learned more about data structures than I knew before. I hope that this process will lead me a solution for my project.

Thank you for your input.

Best regards,
