unable to perform scheduled backups using MySql-administrator

I'm having trouble performing backups using msql-administrator. Running on suse 9.1, mysql-administrator 1.0.18, after using the scheduler to setup a backup, nothing seems to happen. I checked out the cron entry, and this is the syntax that mysql-administrator creates for the cron job:
comment: MySQL Administrator Backup [profile] (do not change this line)
program: /usr/bin/mysql-administrator -bpprofile -bt/home/reggie -bxdrupal -cdefault
I've tried running this as a normal user, root and mysql admin account all with the same results. I am able to perform manual backups through mysql-administrator gui. Thanks very much for your help (and for a fantastic product)
