Mysqldump manual pages are complete so far as I can tell. An example of backing up one database on a Windows system where...

- the path to the mysql instalklation folder is in the OS var %mysql_home%

- USER is the mysql user

- PSWD is her password

- BACKUPFILESPEC is the name of the backup file ...

%mysql_home%\bin\mysqldump -uUSER -pPSWD %1 -K -E -R >BACKUPFILESPEC
