MySQL Enterprise Monitor 2.3.20 has been released

MySQL Enterprise Monitor 2.3.20 is now available for download on the
My Oracle Support (MOS) web site.

This is a maintenance release that updates various third party
components and fixes some bugs. You can find more information on the
contents of this release in the change log:

You will find binaries for the new release on My Oracle Support:

Choose the "Patches & Updates" tab, and then choose the "Product or
Family (Advanced Search)" side tab in the "Patch Search" portlet.

Important: MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) 3.0 offers many significant
improvements over MEM 2.3. If you have not already analyzed upgrading
any remaining 2.3 installations to MEM 3.0, we highly recommend you do

Changes in MySQL Enterprise Monitor 2.3.20

* The OpenSSL library bundled with MySQL Enterprise Service Manager
and MySQL Enterprise Monitor Agent has been upgraded to OpenSSL
1.0.1k. (Bug #20375561)

* The MySQL database, bundled with the MySQL Enterprise Service
Manager, has been upgraded to MySQL 5.5.42.

* Important: As of this release, MySQL Enterprise Monitor 2.3 no
longer supports Mac OS X. Please upgrade to MySQL Enterprise
Monitor 3.0 for continued Mac OS X support.

Bugs Fixed

* Tomcat did not start on Windows systems if VC2008 redistributable
package was not installed. As of this release, the VC2008 libraries
are included in the MySQL Enterprise Service Manager installation
for Windows.

* SSL connections failed between the MySQL Enterprise Service Manager
and the repository due to a premature expiry of the self-signed SSL
certificates delivered with the upgrade installer.

* The bundled Java Runtime Environment was updated to version
1.7.0_76.
