@build hostname

In the users for one of our MySQL installations (4.0.20a) we have found a hostname called @build and a user called root@build. I have not seen this on any of our other installations and have removed it as a precaution. I cannot find any documentation refering to this account either. Does anyone know anything about this hostname?
