mysql keyring_file plugin master key storage
Hello Team/Developer,
I just been digging keyring_file plugin. I came to know about TDE and keyring_file plugin.
i am able to get to know, how its getting and generating master key, its in storage/innobase/os/os0file.cc file, in Encryption::create_master_key and get_master_key function. but when its creating master key here in storage/innobase/os/os0file.cc then why its having effect on keyring_file plugin.
does it do matching between key storage by keyring_file plugin in key generated by storage/innobase/os/os0file.cc ?
i cloned mysql-server source code and compiled it and tested basic functionality of it
What is effect of keyring_file plugin on this master key generated by os0file.cc?
