Re: LDAP Autentication with MySQL?
Me too! I'd love to see some module or whatever that sees what remote user is 'browsing' (just connecting or internet surfing) and set the permissions for authentication for tables based on these LDAP accounts, just like with Microsoft SQL Server.
For example: I am browsing the website as user si714725 and I want the MySQL server to recognize me as si714725 and not as the user in the connection string. Then the server can check the permissions for me (si714725). That user exists in an AD and it's permissions in MySQL are set, but the account is fetched through LDAP.
Is there any hope on this kind of feature/module?
