Configuring MySQL/APACHE/PHP
I want to build a Apache/MySQL/PHP system (RedHat 3 or 4), but have my MySQL box on a private IP connected via a second NIC off of the Apache/PHP box. I have all of the networking, um, working, but have one lingering question, make that several.
I built the MySQL on Box 2, Built the Apache on box 1. When I build the PHP, do I do a local installation of the MySQL on box 2 to get all of the shared things working? Then just connect to the MySQL on Box 1?
Main problem is that I don't know which terms to use to dig up some info on the web about this. Thanks in advance for some info, article links, etc.
