Thank you, been sorted, kind of.
It is a *local* file call .mysql_history; not a file stored in the mysql-server.

Puh, this is alreasy good ! Still, I'd rather have none such traces; neither for my users.
How can I safely get any usage of 'mysql' to be not logged ?
I have around 100 users; so the question creeps in, how to remove this logging system-wide ?
