Backdoor Trojan and mySql 3.x
Some many months ago I had a backdoor trojan on my system. It used a dll called FurQ.dll. Still, long after I killed the trojan, I continue to notice in the mySql error log that mySql still tries to use FurQ.dll, msdx3252.dll, and shell64.dll. mySql's error logs in the failure to run these dlls.
So, where do I go to try to stop mySql from looking for these? I have uninstalled and reinstalled all my mySql stuff but that didn't change things. I reckon there is something in the registry... I'll look.
But... does this have anything to do with the fact that I can no longer see the table heirarchy structure display using mySqlGui 1.7.5? Using the menu to ask for the table heirarchy results in a hung app.
