aggregation of table with millions of rows

I am working on designing a Summary Table and Fact table for an application.

I am planning on running Aggregation on Fact Table once per day, and storing the data in the Summary table.

My question is, if I am going to be doing AGGREGATION once per day, will MySQL not require more time, and processing capacity when there are millions of records.

I just saw a post on "roll up tables". But, I would like to know, if I need to execute AGGREGATION once an hour, if data is going to be in millions each day.
