mysql slow query log deletion
hi,
we use mysql 5.0 with replication setup.we have enabled mysql slow query logs.
The query log file have grown huge. I want to purge slow log without restarting mysql.I learned that there are commands like flush logs which do so.If i use flush command I assume it will clear all logs . Will this clear logs used by replication and thus affect replication synchrozination?
Is there any way i just clear on mysql query log and rest all log files remains intact?
Please advise.
Thanks
Omkar
