Mysql GUI Tools in Solaris 10 not running

I have downloaded and installed the 5.0 gui (x64) tools for linux (tarball)- they are supposed to work in Solaris - but none of the tools run. The export in the shell file seems to generate the following error. (same in all the tools).

./mysql-administrator: MA_DIR=/opt/mysql-gui-tools-5.0: is not an identifier

I have installed them in the /opt directory (recommended) and the path is actually correct. I navigate to the directory /opt/mysql-gui-tools-5.0 with the terminal and run ./mysql-administrator. (I am running the Java Desktop 3).

I am somewhat new to Solaris - but it seems the shell file may not be compatible.

Has anyone had any luck with this - my only other option is to do a remote connection and use a windows machine (ugh) to manage the DB.
