newbie : install with IP address
Hi,
i'm a newbie to MySQL but i'm used to PostgreSQL and other databases.
i was wondering how to set up local installation of MySQL to allow me to connect via IP address instead of localhost servername ?
moreover, i've read that the root role can be used only in localhost. so how to create another role to connect to MySQL server using IP address ?
