I kept getting the Error 1130 when trying to connect to my MySQL server which is on a different computer altogether.
Both machines run XP pro.

I`ve got MySQL installed on the client computer aswell, no problem connecting to localhost, but 1130 error when connecting to 'server'.

I tried what Spyros said and atleast I got phpMyAdmin to work on the client computer.
phpMyadmin is a webbased query tool, but it doesn`t have the nifty admin tools.

Note: Don`t really care whether or not the admin tool funcions on the server because I want to remotely administrate it.
