Strange problem with timestamp
Hello,
My database server is Debian 5, MySQL 5. One table in the database contains a column of type timestamp with CURRENT_TIMESTAMP as the default value.
Today I noticed that the timestamp values of newly created records were wrong (4h ahead of the real time). I found out that the time on the server had gotten wrong, which is also weird.
Which is even more weird is that timestamps which were right in my database backups, have gotten wrong two. The actual time difference moving from older to newer records was 2 hours, then 3 hours and finally 4 hours ahead.
Could there be a logical explanation to this?
Thank you.
