Schedule Backups with Administrator

Hi Everyone,
I have been trying to schedule a backup with the MySQL Administrator tool. I followed the instructions on the website, and after I save the scheduled backup, the back up does not execute at the scheduled time. Also I check the information_schema.EVENTS and mysql.event tables and this event does not show up ( I don't know if it should or not). I have scheduled other events, and I was thinking that i could schedule the mysqldump event the same way, but I wanted to try to learn the MySQL administrator tool. Any Ideas?
