Recovering Log-in Information

I made a really stupid mistake. When I set up my MySQL Administrator a few weeks ago, I was have a conversation with someone and not really paying attention to what I was doing. Long story short, I tried to get into MySQL Administrator and realized I have no idea what my log-in information was.

Is there any way to find out what I set my Username/Password to? As a last resort, would uninstalling and reinstalling MySQL Administrator effectively "give me a clean slate," or will it cause further problems (as some programs like to do sometimes)?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
