We are working with a start-up that is looking for a full time MySQL Database Administrator to join the team. Their new venture is out to change the way people get hired! They are a small group of successful, experienced entrepreneurs based outside of the smashingly gorgeous and always exciting Washington DC! Company is one of the largest successful businesses in MD that has proven success with starting other online companies. FULL BENEFITS, EQUITY and CASUAL ENVIRONMENT. Ability to work from home for those that live far but still driving distance.

MySQL DBA with 4+ years of experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

InnoDB/NDB clustering, replication, security and backup/restore operations
Linux/UNIX knowledge as it pertains to MySQL administration
Diagnosing unexpected database performance issues proactive
Database troubleshooting
General exposure to security technologies and concepts such as PKI, SSL, firewalls
Experience with PHP as it pertains to MySQL a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing storage strategies and establish standards for complex database environments
