MySQL v1.0 and v1.1 Freeze while logging into MySQL Database

MS XP Pro
MySQL v4.1.14 and MySQL Administrator v1.1.2
MySQL service is running, I open MySQL Administrator and enter the password, press enter or OK and the window freezes every time. Ican see the grafics, and everything is vieable in the MySQL Administrator log in screen, only that you cannot press abything except Cancel and then the program starts to not respond.
Throught the loging in proccess after I press OK the mysql-nt.exe (I presume that's the service) starts to run at 50% maximum of my CPU.

Please help me out with this problem.
