Well, MySQL Administrator is mainly a GUI tool. Command line handling is merely an add on. So it does not well support text console execution and the usual output with redirection possibility. If you think this would a worthy addition then please file a feature request at http://bugs.mysql.com (add a bug entry but set the severity to S5 (feature request)).
