getting updated , inserted, deleted records list without using triggers

Hi,
I have problem , for getting details about insertion, updation, deletion of records from the table, i created 3 triggers for each table ... maintaining more triggers leads to get burden on database server .... can u please clarify is their any other solution with or with out using triggers....
