We have an environment which is having mysql 5.1.73 running on RHEL 6. Unix team is now considering upgrading RHEL 6 to RHEL 7.6. But i am not sure if MySQL 5.1.73 is supported in RHEL 7.6. I am not able to see supported platform info for 5.1.73 since it is EOL. https://www.mysql.com/support/supportedplatforms/database.html

I checked in the downloads section as well https://downloads.mysql.com/archives/community/

MySQL 5.1.73 is not being distributed for RHEL 7.

So I am confused on how to check whether MySQL 5.1.73 will be supported in RHEL 7 or not without checking that in a lower environment.

Anybody has tried it already or any insights regarding this, please let me know.

Thanks
