I installed phpMyAdmin on OS X 10.5. After following a few of the suggestions in this post, includeing:
$ sudo mkdir /var/mysql
$ sudo ln -s /tmp/mysql.sock /var/mysql/mysql.sock

I was able to get it working. But, after rebooting my machine, I am now getting the "#2002 - The server is not responding" error.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what could have been reset during reboot that is not allowing phpMyAdmin to connect. MySQL is up and running; I can access it via command line.

Thanks,
Marion
