unauthenticated users

I am using MySQL Administrator to view user connections and I see someone listed as unauthenticated user coming from an iP Address I don't recognize and everytime I hit refresh, it looks like they are trying a different port. The command listed is Connect.

I assume I am okay since I am using a strong password for root and the 2 user accounts I have on the machine.

If I bind-address to localhost, will this take care of the problem?

The only issue I have with doing this is that i would like to use the replication features of mysql and I assume by binding the adress to localhost, I will not be able to take advantage of them...is this correct?

Do I have any other options?

Thanks.
