Web dev error using Dreamweaver MX

I have followed the Dreamweaver MX guidelines in creating a connection to a database, except that instead of using command line prompt to create the database, I have used a beta version of MySQL Control Center. However, a dialog box in MX appears stating that 'An unidentified error has occur'.
Can anyone advise what might be causing this issue? My setup is as follows: Windows/ Apache and MySQL/PHP.
