Need to upgrade several 4.0.18 databases to 5.6
Hi,
We have several 4.0.18 MySQL databases that we need to upgrade to 5.6. I read through the Oracle document 13198771. and it states that to upgrade a 4.1 to 5.6 you need to do the followig upgrades in order for them to guarantee it: 4.1->5.0->5.1->5.5->5.6. In the document it said that you shiuld be able to "skip" soem of the releases, but they do not guarantee it. Could we skip and go straight to 5.6? I noticed on Oracles down load site that release 4.1 and 5.0 are no longer available, so we would not be able to upgrade to those interim levels anyway.
Thank you,
Kevin Coyle
