Hi,

is there anyone who could reply to this topic ?

the fact that mysql 5.7 does not use a default port of 3306 is gonna cause zillions of scripts to fail

I checked on my system (my.cnf) the port is set to 3306
but php myadmin fails to install cos mysql gives an error (default port not defined)
