What should I do next after the 1Z0-908 - MySQL 8.0 Database Administrator exam?
Hi everyone,
I recently passed the 1Z0-908 - MySQL 8.0 Database Administrator exam and wanted to share a bit about my experience and seek some guidance for the future.
This certification really helped me deepen my understanding of the MySQL architecture, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and securing databases. I also got hands-on knowledge about query optimization, backup and recovery strategies, and high availability techniques, which were all key parts of the exam.
To be honest, the exam wasn't easy. It required solid preparation and understanding of the core concepts. One of the most valuable resources during my preparation was the 1Z0-908 practice test by P2PExams, which played a vital role in helping me identify weak areas and solidify key topics.
Now that I’ve cleared this certification, I’m exploring what steps I should take next to continue building my career in database administration or MySQL-related technologies. Should I focus more on advanced MySQL features, cloud integrations, or maybe consider other Oracle certifications?
Would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions from those who’ve been on a similar path.
Thanks in advance!
