Delphi BDE + XP = Couldn't perform edit because another user changed the record

Hi,

I've looked in here and googled and looked at lists.

I have a Delphi app using BDE to access MySQL over 3.51.11-2 (and since tried with 3.51.12) which works fine on Win2K but throws

>> Couldn't perform the edit because another user changed the record

type errors on XP systems. The tables in question have a primary key (2 fields) and a timestamp field.

I have also made sure I've checked the first 2 (and tried first 3) options on the ODBC Advanced tab.

Basically I can see no difference between the setup on 2000 and XP but I have a few 2000 systems on which this s/w works and 3 XP systems throwing exactly this error.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
