Odbc connection in word 2003 does not work.

Please help me out guys!
I have installed a mysql server, made a table, imported data, installed the mysql administrator, build an odbc dsn. Everything works great.
Now thist is my problem:
I want to use a table in a word document. If i choose for a word odbc data link, it just fails to initialize.
If i test the odbc connection in windows, the connection is made.
In excell 2003 i can import all data without a problem.
I use xp pro sp2, office 2003, mysql 4.1.11, mysql odbc 3.51.
Please help me out here!
