myODBC and MySQL v5

Hi all,

I`m using the MySQL v5 beta (as I`m converting an MS SQL Server DB that relies heavily on Stored Procedures).

Using the current ODBC driver I get all kinds of problems, particularly with recognision of data types.

MS Access in particular cannot display any of the data in my tables, and this is one of the chief tools we use for checking data.

Either I have done something wrong or the current ODBC driver is not compatible with v5, can anyone verify this?

Are there any alternatives, or is there an update in the pipeline?

Thanks,

Giles
