Re: How to set the character set value in ODBC

I am new to this terminal and I am have a hard time. I tried typing my password in the command prompt and I received ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost'(using password:N)
I am completely lost! I want to connect my perl program to the mysql database. However, I am receiving an abundance of errors.
