Sorry, of course I used the new driver

Using odbc.ini on hostd

Driver = /home/ms/odbc/lib/libmyodbc3.so

ms@actisd 575> ./odbctest "DSN=myname;PWD=ms;UID=mypw"
OpenLink ODBC Demonstration program
This program shows an interactive SQL processor
SQLDriverConnect = [MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2), SQLSTATE=HY000
