I downloaded the installer for 3.51.19 onto my new MacBookPro. I managed to establish an ODBC connection via ODBC Administrator - there is nice GUI to do this now :) I connected to the mysql test database using NeoOffice. I do have Xcode installed. I am using MySQL 5.0.45.
The whole process is stacks better than what I had to go through on the old PowerBook.
Is the problem you cannot connect at all, you cannot run test the connection via Terminal, or it works from some Apps not others? For some reason I cannot establish a connection via Excel.
