Hello Robik,

Thanks for showing interest in MySQL Connector/ODBC.

First try with mysql command line client or any other mysql client tool (like workbench) to determine whether you are able to connect to mysql server and issue is not in MyODBC only.

Check if any solution in these bugs solves your problem:

Otherwise please generate odbc trace and file a new bug report.
