Sorry, the point is to connect remotely outside of the LAN. I actually haven't tried to connect from another computer from within the LAN. What I want to do is distribute a front end database to contractors for use in the field.
When I use the host computer and attempt use % where it asks for the TCP/IP Server, I get "Connection Failed [MySQL][OBDC 5.3(w) Driver] Unknown MySQL server host '%" (2):
