Hi Sam,

To figure out the source of the problem you might try to enable the ODBC Tracing, which is available in ODBC Data Source Administrator -> Tracing.
Make sure that you tick the option for "Machine-Wide tracing for all user identities". Also, The tracing must be enabled before you start the client program (MS Access in your case). And the last, but not least, the log file path must be set to a location where it can be written and accessed by you.

About the error 3151, it is a largely generic error, which does not identify the issue with the great accuracy. One thing is certain - such errors are not coming from the ODBC driver itself. Those are the result of problems in DAO/ADO used by Microsoft products such as MS Access. I do not know all the details, but this article might help you:
