Similar problems here. I have found that on both MySQL 5.6.x and 5.7.19, the ODBC Connector 5.3.9 causes IIS to crash. I am now using Windows Server 2016, 64-bit, but I had the same problem on Windows Server 2008. My site is written in ASP, not ASP.NET. Downgrading the connector to 5.3.4 fixed the problem, but I hope that Oracle can sort this out in the next "upgrade".
