Hi Brian,

there is no way to pass the env variable through INITSTMT option of the ODBC connection string.
However, you can make a script, which creates a DSN using myodbc-installer with the value for INITSTMT generated using the env variable value.
That is a bit more work and extra steps to be done before using a DSN, but it should be able to do the trick.
