For every failed insert you should be able to see a "warning" try to run the "show warnings" command just after the proccess finish.

For me it's a performance problem.

How big is your max_allowed_packet variable? If to small set it on max value 1024M and try againg.

Also consider increase your innodb_buffer_pool_size variable if your table is innodb.
