Upgrade 3.51 odbc connector - Unicode or Ansi?
I was tasked to upgrade servers / clients to the latest version possible.
The fun part is that the server is a MAC (OSX 10.5) with built in MySQL service (5.0.92) with windows 7 (32 bit) clients connected with smb1 to file service and ODBC 3.51 connector that is used with Access 2003 (lots of forms, query, reports, etc).
The new machines that will arrive its windows 10 only (preferable 64 bit) so i have to upgrade everything. One of my main problems is the ODBC connector 3.51.
What i found out that from ODBC 5.2 there is 2 versions. Ansi and Unicode. And i really dont know which one to choose and i need advice on that.
