Specified driver could not be loaded ...error 182
Error message when I attempt to run a script on my site containing a query: "Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 182"
In some web searches on this error, I saw some references to proper versions for some of the Windows programs needed for web servers.
This is a local, personal installation. I'm running:
Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
MySQL Server 5.5
MySQL Connector/ODBC 8.0
I defined my DSN once as ANSI and once as unicode, with the same result.
This issue seems to affect a number of software configurations but, since I might be asked, I'm running Microsoft-IIS/7.5 and Coldfusion Server 9.0.
If I swap out the MySQL DSN for my previous MS Access DSN, the script functions without errors, so IIS and Coldfusion are installed and running properly.
