Re: Error HY000 when trying to connect to excel
I'm having exactly the same problem. The ODBC driver is working fine and Test Connection is successful. If I open Access and use the ODBC connection, it connects to the MySQL server and shows me the tables and views. But then when trying to load a table, the ODBC call fails.
In Excel, it simply gives the same error as the previous user.
