Hi Matthew,
Just wondering if you were able to find a solution after still experiencing it with VC++ 2015-2022 to 14.40.x?

We are having issues in Tableau with MySQL drivers 9.x and above as well even though we have VC++ 2015-2022 14.40.33816 in 64-bit. Previous versions work without issues though. Currently our workaround is to stay on the latest 8.x version (which is 8.4) however as that version has vulnerabilities we will need to upgrade soon.

Hi Bogdan, are there any other updates on this issue? Could it be related to this open bug? https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=117271
