Re: MySQL ODBC connector forgets password and server name
I noticed this with some of the systems I examined.
Usually this happens after we Update or reinstall a new MySQL server instance and adjust the clients to access this with new ODBC clients.
For some Software also x32 access is needed, but usually this applies to x64 architecture. We recently had a design system with ME10 and our database solution, which needed a x32 source. There we used 8.0.43.
With my own system everything works fine. Each data source remembers and presents it's values from the keys mentioned.
With some other systems, I can't convice the ODBC connector to get those values from the registry, where these are present still. That's also with the connectors 8.4.x and 9.x, which only exist in x64.
In the case from above where I needed to use the x32 connector I think, this happened there as well.
